Meet Chris Eddy – Our Newest Practitioner with Over 22 Years of Acupuncture Experience
Chris Eddy brings more than two decades of experience in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, offering a gentle yet highly effective approach to care.
Originally working as a sound engineer at Channel 9 in 1994, Chris’s career took a transformative turn after facing persistent health challenges following a trip to Bali. After seeking help from numerous doctors and allied health professionals with little success, it was Chinese medicine and acupuncture that finally brought him relief—and sparked a new direction in his life.
Motivated by his personal healing journey, Chris went on to study Human Biology and Chinese Medicine at RMIT, completing five years of study and beginning clinical practice in 2003.
Since then, he has provided over 20,000 treatments, developing a unique style of acupuncture and herbal medicine that is both gentle and results-driven.
Chris treats a broad range of conditions, but he is particularly known for his work with PTSD, anxiety, back pain, headaches, and women’s health concerns including period pain, vulvodynia, and perimenopause.
Chris looks forward to offering you acupuncture and herbal medicine support at centre of health Ivanhoe.
